I began my role as Lead Pastor at Kansas City Church in 1992. I am happily married to Abby Jerls and am a proud father to three sons: Judah, from my late wife, and Ezra and Asa, whom all bring immense joy to our lives. My unwavering passion for loving people and this city remains constant. With my St. Louis upbringing along with being a St. Louis Cardinals fan; however - Kansas City has captured my heart that I am now an avid supporters of the Royals and Chiefs! In fact, anything about KC has my heart. Attending baseball games, partaking in family traditions such as Christmas decorating, and visiting the pumpkin patch are some of our favorite pastimes. However, most of all, we cherish spending quality time together at home, along with loving and serving the saints of God, in His Name, and bring Jesus to anyone and everyone I come across in our beloved city.
